i agree with tim.
of course everyone looks up themselves. (well don't they? i bet adam does :-) ) sorry adam!!
my entries are v odd.
under the 'technology solutions' reference they have 'females in information technology' information plus a link to a company in the usa called technology solutions that wasn't anything to do with my company so to that extent the links are v misleading & naive.
under the "unsw' link they have 'acs foundation' information, its also interesting that they there give me a phd which i haven't got and yet as a 'company' link they say there is no information on unsw!!!
i didn't bother to chase up the other references.
a very misleading & naive system IMHO. you'd get better info by typing my name into alta vista or google.
peace

this has no "wow" factor for me, as the only contact is from the local
greens groups contact list which is *intended* to be public, so that
people with queries can contact the secretaries of their local groups,
in this case me (see alternate signature below).
i do have footprints all over the net from my infestation of the last 20
years, in fact i was in the original White Pages under "tal", so it
seems odd that they didn't catch me at a number of places i currently
have interests, from north america to norway, and i even provide some
friends who need privacy with a crude anonymizing service through the
domain name i own, which i thought would have cross-referenced through
to this account, which is where a traceroute would get chopped off at
the bounce/remail point.
however, i am a little miffed that i have been put into a database with
asking my permission, and as it would be relatively easy to cross
reference other emails and links, the implications for the future are a
little alarming.
thank you for bring this to my attention.
