Dear Linkers,

In the wake of the revelation that CSIRO's web-presence makeover is costing
$9.47million I wonder how much taxpayers are going to have to fork for
three upcoming government jobs which, according to their titles at least,
sound not dissimilar.

Basic details are up at the www.austenders.gov.au site.

The jobs are
1, Production support for new and existing Department of Defence web-sites
(Ref No CON-G 216-2004)

2, Internet Design and Online Communications Strategy for Dept of Defence
(Ref No CON-G 217-2004)

3, A makeover of www.australia.gov.au
( Tender No FIN05AGIMO-002)

Any guesses? I'd be delighted for any 'informed' commentators out there who
could help me put a dollar
figure on these jobs. I've got no idea myself.
