The trouble with these oped pieces of Harry Evans, and I have to say
that I totally agree with him, is that he is preaching to the choir, and
I would venture to suggest that a large part of Link are part of that choir.
When it comes to the voters in general then I believe his words are lost
in the wind. The average voter just doesn't get it; they don't have a
clue about how the electoral system works and I say that from 25 years
experience at managing elections at all levels of government, and I
regret to have to say that the younger they are the less the amount of
clue - they know how to vote someone off Big Brother but they have no
idea how to vote in a government. ...now, there might be an idea
there... :)
