My wife and I aren't working and earning an income. She's a Three Degree
Holding person with High School Teaching Accreditation in Maths, Science,
Music and Computing - all areas that the Department of Education cries
desperate for, but she can't get a job?
Me? I'm a school flunkie who has so many skills I can do anything from
invent to implement. But no one wants to pay me because there is always
someone cheaper out there who's a mate and will spend 200 times the real
cost and stuff up the process anyway.
I also know about 300 other people looking for full paid work, but no one
seems to be interested.
Actually on 17 December 2004, (for Christmas being a peak period) I applied
for Pizza Delivery Driver jobs at three of the local chains. They all
promised to call me back for an interview (??) in a few days.
I'm still waiting for the calls and the signs for staff are still
up. Might try the two local Hungry Jacks this month - casual work is good
for me :)
