The one that I've not seen addressed is the extremely arogant method that
the banks vary their conditions of use for net banking.
I log in but before I can get to the page to move the money which has been
deposited directly by my employer, (who gets paid in cash these days?) to
cover the credid card bill which is due tomorrow. I am presented with a page
(five miles long) of conditions that I must agree to, before I can procede
Not an indication as to which paragraph, line or word has been changed since
the last change.
What can I do? I agree! the bill must be paid! But I do write a disclaimer
to the bank manager, advising that if any of the changes that I have just
agreed to adversly affect me, I will not be bound by them, as I have
accepted them under duress. This is sometimes ignored and sometimes receives
a patronising reply.
I guess their attitude at least remains consistent, be it technical,
security, or be it the aforementioned changes, 'bugger the customers!'
