i do take the time to find out where they claim to be from before
telling them where to go - occasionally it's someone either myself or
my partner actuall want to hear from (e.g. Bendigo Bank are pretty nice
when you don't have enough money in your cheque account to cover a
cheque...they ring you up and tell you to transfer money into it rather
than just bounce it and charge you a fee).
i had to tell scumbags calling for the Herald Sun to FOAD four times
last week...have no idea what they were flogging, probably subscriptions
- don't know, don't care, not interested (and even if i was interested,
i'd boycott them now anyway. i wont buy anything from anyone who spams
me even once). that's what really pisses me off about these vermin,
they just refuse to take "No" (or even "FOAD") for an answer. they know
people don't want these nuisance calls, but they call anyway.
