Time doesn't ease the pain, does it? Pick was under a popular 
book-and-bill system in the publishing business for a while. It was 
finally and mercifully killed by the unbelievable cost of connecting to 
Ethernet. Let's see: a different license, "X" number of serial ports 
connected to a serial-LAN interface, only as many LAN users as serial 
ports ... ugh!
