Looking for a university textbook on accessible web design to use next
year. Any suggestions? If there was a book with an online edition that
would be good (a free one even better).
Looked at "Effective Website Development" by Keith Darlington and
"Principles of Web Site Design" by Joel Sklar". These had some technical
detail of advanced web formats, were good on the principles of web design
and something on accessible design. But Darlington's examples of the use of
color are in black and white and uses the transitional version of XHTML
with inline formatting. Sklar uses tables for page layout not CSS.
Or should I just turn my notes into a book <http://www.tomw.net.au/2005/wd/>?
