if people end up as slaves (e.g. from unpaid debt, criminal or poor
parents, or just choosing the wrong skin colour at birth), it's their
own fault. like poverty, it's a moral failing and they have only
themselves to blame that they weren't able to make it in the real world.
they had the same opportunity to compete as everyone else.
