The biggest problem with e-voting is the same as e-mail:
- Confirming the Identity of the person using it.
Second is:
- is the person being coerced or exerting "free will".
SMTP is also is *not* suitable for delivering formal notices for a whole
raft of reasons - and is not subject to same penalties for interference
as 'The Post'... And in the name of "reducing admin costs", pollies
*will* in time direct Depts to use e-mail, not Real Post.
