I certainly hate the way the ABC is so damn self promoting. Upcoming 
programs are shoved down our throats endlessly (and it would appear at 
increased volume).

I'm not sure how to frame a curbing of this activity though. I am also 
unsure about the issue of the money the ABC makes though its sales in 
the ABC shops and online. Does this money get factored in by the govt 
when sizing the ABC funding?
