Quoting Howard Lowndes on Tuesday March 06, 2007:
| This is a non sequiteur for those who run real operating systems which
| base their time as offsets against UTC and whose update regularly
| include time zone changes; The Fedora repository is already up to the
| third update for 2007
Clearly this doesn't include MacOS X, which had the wrong time zone
for Perth until a couple of weeks ago. Not surprisingly, given the
irresponsible way Western Australia adopted daylight savings time, but
nonetheless unsupported.
Similarly, some flight information systems clearly aren't up to date as
flying into Perth both the pilot and the inflight entertainment system
announced local time as an hour earlier.
