google: 1730K results
live:    376K results

Search for "link mailing list"
google: 105000K results
live:     3644K results

But accuracy counts most, doesn't it.

In the case of the search for "link", Live does not even mention
this august list on the first page unless I refine the search to
"link mailing list anu".

Google comes up shining with http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/link
(after a couple of vile ads for direct marketing).

p.s. Of course Live has not had ten years to troll through the
web, so of course it won't have the numbers that google does.
