>The Australian DSRC (or AusDSRC) Cluster has been
>to secure the allocation of the 5.9GHz radio frequency spectrum for
>Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) initiatives; develop a
>cohesive national framework; and act as a catalyst for intelligent
>transport systems that demand secure, wireless broadband capability.
>AusDSRC is urging the Australian Communications and Media Authority
>to follow the lead of Europe and North American authorities, which
>have both allocated the 5.9GHz wireless band for their next
>generation of intelligent transport systems.

objects. One wonders what the data flows are going to be for this 'little' gem.
