Well in Tasmania the outlook is for warmer and drier. Hobart already has the 
second lowest rainfall of Australian capital cities (Adelaide gets less). So 
more droughts and bushfires is what we expect to see.

Influx of pests and diseases from other climates. It's currently too cold in 
Tasmania for significant cockroach infestations, that's likely to change. 
Whether or not predators for the introduced pest will also arrive is another 
question. Marine pests are also becoming a bigger issue.

Loss of local species which can't adapt to the changing climate.

Extremes of heat which local buildings aren't designed for will become more 
common.

Tasmanian ski fields are only just better than marginal, this year we had good 
skiing, but it's been poor for the previous few years.

The main problem is not the Global Warming so much as the other aspects of 
Climate Change, eg lower rainfall.
