I asked a bunch of journalists on another list when they received the
SMS. A summary:
First - approx 2.11pm (Telstra)
Last - About 3.30pm (Optus)
Telstra had a very wide spread, from 2.11 to 3.15. So did Optus - from
2.28 to 4.07.
Nobody from 3 or Voda reported receiving, but this probably reflects the
carrier choices rather than the networks.
However; it's a good thing this wasn't an evacuation alert, with both
carriers running more than an hour spread between users!
