this quote is choice:

in other words, the copyright industry has to enforce their own
copyright at their own expense, instead of trying to externalise the
cost by forcing it onto others.

too bad this principle wasn't applied when they successfully lobbied
to externalise the cost onto the public purse by making copyright
infringement a criminal matter rather than civil (as it used to be, and
as it *should* be).
