[LINK] Straw poll - smartcard readers in laptops

I spoke to a Sydney girl today who had just received a school laptop.  
It was a Dell (e4300 I think).  It has a built-in smartcard reader. 

I'm interested to know how widespread this feature is.  Would LINKers 
who know school kids with laptops be prepared to check it out and let 
me/us know?
