Many vendor-specific Exif fields do contain the camera serial number eg:
offset 0x000c in the Canon tags

>-   data such as the following have been published:
>     -   Camera Serial Number
>     -   Date and Time
>     -   Position, e.g. Lat/Long

So the Exif fields can contain the first 3 pieces of the above requirements.
