Dead in the US? I think not...

In 2012, the number of US households with Pay TV *increased* 46,000.  Yes,
that's a small increase, and potentially smaller than increase in the total
number of houses in the US, but it's still an increase!  Those numbers also
include a significant reduction in subscribers from places still recovering
from Hurricane Sandy as at the end of the year, so the true increase
(without Sandy) was likely higher than 46,000.

Yes, there is certainly an increase in people moving away from pay TV, but
with over 100 million US households paying for TV, calling it "dying"
couldn't be further from the truth.  At most, it's got the sniffles...
