[My response is:] Among Nalik people in New Ireland this is actually the
door itself, both with the Tok Pisin "ai bilong haus" and its literal Nalik
translation. My understanding is that this is pretty common among
Austronesian languages, so that the Tok Pisin expression would be a literal
translation from various Austronesian languages.
