tok, tokim
tok masta: a variety of Tok Pisin used by non-native speakers
[BURTON John] Unless someone, especially a native speaker, knows of this in
actual usage, I am treating this as a formation made up by linguists!
[EARLEY Suzanne] Common in our area was "susak Pisin", from "shoe-sock",
used to refer in a derogatory way to the use of words like "adaptim" by
non-native speakers in general and "palament (sp?) pisin" referring to the
incredibly inventive use of Pidgin in Parliament during speeches,
particularly as used by people from Motu areas who had learned Pidgin as
adults. Never heard "tok masta" anywhere, though.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of

inspired, and success achieved.
