According to Peekel (1984: 403)
Terminalia catappa is talia in Kuanua, talise in (NIP) Patpatar, and talis
in (NIP) East Kara.

He doesnt give names in these languages for Terminalia kaernbachii,
but for T. complanata, he gives talia-kau in Kuanua, talise-kau in
Patpatar, and rakasial in East Kara.

Other "common" english names in the general literature are sea almond,
Indian almond, Java almond.

The Peekel ref is:

Peekel, P.G. 1984. Flora of the Bismarck archipelago for naturalists. Lae,
Office of Forests.
