Speaking of neologisms, I had a conversation with three TP speakers last
time I was in Port Moresby in which it became clear that Œloanoda¹ was being
used to mean Œcrime¹. When I queried this usage one of my interlocutors
wrote it down as I have spelled it, insisting that Œloanoda¹ did indeed mean
crime. Has anyone else encountered this usage?
