My guess is a little different: I think that "mekim pas tru" is a phrase 
that means "did it very quickly" (pas = fast) and refers to the planting 
of the corn. English loans like "fast" are often reworked into TP.   In 
your example "con" is halfway between English "corn" and TP "kon".
