<DIV><EM>Retskin</EM> was commonly used for white people in the Erave area of the Southern Highlands when I lived there in the 1970s and visited from Goroka in the early 1980s. The last time I was there in 2001 I did not notice if it was being used. <EM>Retskin</EM> was also used for local people of light color. The corresponding word in Kewa was <EM>wepiali</EM>.</DIV>
