Why isn't Kriol considered a Pacific or Bislamic pidgin? It's hard to
imagine how a language could have sentences like "Det nes bin stap
antap langa tri." (The nest is at the top of the tree.) and "Gardiya
bin pikimap mipala en teik mipala langa mishin." (White people picked
us up and took us to the mission.) without bearing a close relationship
with Tok Pisin and the rest.<br>
