<p class="MsoNormal">In celebration of the Polynesian Voyaging Society’s launching of its most recent voyage around the world in its two canoes, Hōkūleʻa and Hikianalia, the Micronesian & Australian Friends Association (MAFA) is hosting their latest movie night
(TOMORROW!), featuring the film <i>The Navigators: Pathfinders of the Pacific.</i></p>

Sam Low and <span class="">archaeologists as they seek clues to the origins and achievements of ancient Polynesian seafarers. It shows the excavation of a powerful voyaging canoe on the Tahitian island of Huahine, early sailing routes in Fiji, and traces of
Hawaii's first settlers on Molokai. </span>Sam Low visits Satawal, in Yap State, and travels <span class="">with Mau Piailug as he and his crew sail a replica of an original Polynesian canoe from Hawaii to Tahiti – in the famous and ground-breaking 2500 mile
voyage across the ocean without benefit of sextant, compass, or any other Western navigational instrument.</span></span><br>
