<span>1.<span style="font: normal normal normal 7pt/normal 'Times New Roman'; "> </span></span>Sadly Margaret Jolly’s term as co-convenor of the Pacific Institute ended at the end of April. Margaret has done an amazing job over the past two years in
keeping the Pacific Institute afloat in testing times and we are really grateful for her leadership and (continuing) support.<o:p></o:p></div>

<span>2.<span style="font: normal normal normal 7pt/normal 'Times New Roman'; "> </span></span>Margaret is being replaced as co-convenor with myself by Chris Ballard. The process of election was simply a call for nominations amongst PI Board members
and Chris was . . . the only one <span style="font-family: Wingdings; ">J</span>. Can I take this opportunity to remind all members that if you would like to be on the Board then please let the Board know and we can process your application for membership
in accordance with the governing rules. Also all PI Board meetings are open to PI members, and we will make sure to circulate the dates of meetings in advance.<o:p></o:p></div>

of the Pacific and CAP. If PI members who are not board members wish to attend you are most welcome, but please let Nick know by this Thursday so that we can book a larger room if necessary.<o:p></o:p></div>
