include Kauage paintings or drawings! Mathias Kauage died in 2003, and some of his work will clearly be in any exhibition we hold. But there have been major changes in PNG art practice since then, and many more artists, which is why this exhibition is planned

been able to see the current exhibition of PNG art '<b>No.1 Neighbour'</b> at Queensland Art Gallery, South Brisbane, a massive and exciting survey of works from the last 50 years which finishes on 29 January. There is a glorious colourful catalogue produced
by the curator, Ruth McDougall, now for $32. Her opening publicity article is attached. There are also five articles with great pix in the gallery's <b>Artlines</b> magazine 3-2016 Sept/Oct/Nov; $7.95.<i> <o:p></o:p></i></span></span></p>
