Edwardsen is a career member of the U.S. Foreign Service. She is currently the Public Diplomacy Country Coordinator for Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands in the Bureau of East Asia and Pacific Affairs. Most recently, she was a press officer
at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India. She served as the Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Auckland, New Zealand from 2012-2014 where she managed public outreach programs throughout New Zealand, the Cook Islands, and Samoa. Her first
tour in the Foreign Service was in Hermosillo, Mexico. Prior to joining the Department of State, Jessica worked in the financial services and consulting sectors New York and Washington. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Georgetown University
and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas, Austin. She most recently attended the East West Center’s “Pacific Young Leaders Conference” in Honolulu which took place Jan. 16-18, bringing together 38 emerging leaders from 17 Pacific Islands in Honolulu
to address critical issues and opportunities in the region.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
