Hi All,
2007 looks like being a good year for cycling at the ANU!
FREE Ride 2 Uni Breakfast:
Come along and share good food and good company at the FREE Ride to Uni Breakfast! Subsidised bike gear on sale (helmets, locks, lights and Canberra Cycleways maps).
When:
Thursday 14th Feb
8am-9.30am (late start for o-week)

Fellows Oval (behind the Gods Cafe)
ANU Bicycle Cooperative - Call for bikes:
As of Monday morning the ANU Bicycle Cooperative will be open 9-12.30 Mondays to Thursdays in the old building down on Lennox Crossing.
Cooperative membership is open to anyone. Members have access to bicycle tools and skills workshops. For those searching for second hand bikes the Co-op will be selling them for $50 (with a $30 refund on return of the bike). Bikes can also be earned through volunteer hours.
The Co-op is a joint project between LEAD Development, ANU students and ANUgreen. LEAD is a community organisation working to get disabled people into meaningful and sociable work.
Look out for the Bike Co-op stall during O-Week or drop in to the workshop anytime and say hello!
Donations of working or nearly working bikes gratefully accepted.

Bike Skills with the Tuggeranong Vikings Cycling Club and ANUgreen:
The Vikings will take people through basic bike and helmet roadworthiness and fit, as well as basic skills such as bike control, effective breaking, cornering and road rules and etiquette.
For the more experienced cyclists, skills will include bunch riding and etiquette, fast cornering, and drafting techniques.
When:
Wednesday 21st February, 7am - 8am

Cost:
$3 to cover insurance.
Who:
Anyone interested in improving their cycling skills.
Information will also be provided on how to get involved in recreational cycling and club racing in the ACT.
