Admissions

	Admissions welcome Megan Sanderson to the team!  Megan comes to
us from Awards and Graduations at CIT and is working in the enquiries
and registration team. 

	Please be advised that due to changes in legislation, a new
payment method for the acceptance deposit for international students has
now been implemented.  For more details, please go to:

	Also, as a reminder, International students are now required to
have Visa Length Overseas Health Cover and offer letters and acceptance
forms have been amended to reflect the change.

 UAC Domestic undergraduate - Applications are now open

30 November 	Last date to submit UAC applications for guaranteed
consideration in the Main Round.  Late fee = $129

NSW ATAR results released on UAC web-site from 9.00am

17 Dec

ACT ATAR results released on UAC web-site from 9.00am

UAC International Undergraduate - Applications are now open

29 October 	Applicants are encouraged to submit applications by this
date but can still apply by early January 2011.

Please note: applicants who applied in 2010 need to re-apply for

Fees & Scholarships 

	We have to announce that sadly we are loosing one of our team
this week.  Leonie Brosnahan will be leaving the Fees and Scholarships
team this Friday the 5 November.  Leonie is heading off to a new job in
Coffs Harbour.  We would like to thank Leonie for all her work and wish
Leonie and her family all the very best and hope they enjoy the warmer
weather. 

Office of policy & regulation 

	Student data submission to DEEWR

	The student data submission for census dates 01/07/2010 to
31/08/2010 has now been finalised. This means that any changes to
enrolments in session 2050 or 2060; and any prior teaching session will
need to be revised. Please ensure that if you are making changes to
enrolment data, other than drops with penalty, to send an email to 
revisions at anu.edu.au with the details so that I can revise the data with
DEEWR. If this doesn't happen student will still be held liable for any
debt that has been reported against these enrolments.

	Transfer credit for Vocational Education

	Just a reminder to those who are entering transfer credit
information into the HR-SA system. If the credit is coming from study at
a vocation education institution (eg TAFE, CIT etc), please use the code
VET for the School type. This will cause a new field (Level of
Education) to appear where you should enter the highest qualification
from which the student is receiving credit from the vocational education
institution eg Advance Diploma. This picture illustrates a typical
example.

	This data is required for reporting to DEEWR. If you have any

Course. The form, a Training Schedule and Course Outlines can be found

	Should you wish to book a place on a Student Admin System
training course, please log onto HORUS at https://horus.anu.edu.au and
go to the Training Menu and select the Training Catalogue. You can
search for a particular course using the SA reference number beside the
course name. ie. SA002 to search for the Overview Course, alternatively
you can email the following details to S21Train at anu.edu.au:

	Contact Phone and/or email of participant(s) 

	Area of the University that the participant(s) works in
