The Big Move

The Big Move is now complete. Aside from a few bits and pieces that
still need a little tinkering, DRSS has finalised its move to 121 Marcus
Clarke Street.

All services are now operating out of the new premises, but phone
numbers and emails remain the same.

A website for students has been established to assist them with the
Division's transition to the new premises. So, if anyone has any
questions, please refer them to drss.anu.edu.au/sas/studentexchange/

Office of Policy and Regulation

Forms for OPAR;

Colleges are kindly asked to ensure that Request for a new eCoE
(electronic confirmation of enrolment) forms for international students
are sent directly to OPAR;

There has been some confusion with the OPAR & International Student
Services (ISS) mail recently resulting in forms being delayed in getting
to us for processing. Any requests for reduced study load should go
directly to Ellen Poels in ISS.

When sending forms to OPAR, please note that we have a new address.

Please send all OPAR forms to:

OPAR Reporting;

Did you know that OPAR is responsible for a suite of reports that are
run to monitor international student enrolment at ANU in accordance with
the ESOS legislative framework and the National Code of Practice for
Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to
Overseas Student (2007)? Below is a summary of our regular reports, if
you'd like to know more you can contact policy.regs at anu.edu.au.

*	Graduate Out of Session Report/ Early Graduation Report - The
Graduate Out of Session/ Early Graduation reports are run on a weekly/
semester basis (respectively) and are used to identify students who
graduate out of session/ early (generally due to an approval to transfer
in order to graduate) and are no longer enrolled at ANU. Their ECoE's
are subsequently reported to DIAC as early completion.

*	Student Status Report - The Student Status Report is run
fortnightly and allows OPAR to identify and monitor students who have
not enrolled or are not enrolled in a 100% study load.
*	Program Change Report - This report is run fortnightly and
allows OPAR to identify students who have transferred programs within
the ANU so the appropriate amendments can be made to the students' ECoE
documents.
*	Return from Program Leave Report - This report is run
fortnightly and allows OPAR to identify students who have returned from
program leave and may not have been issued an eCoE.
*	Future Return from Program Leave Report - This report is run
once per semester and allows OPAR to identify students who will be due
to return from program leave in the next semester.
