Dear all,

Come to our second public lecture of 2008!

Meltdown or sustainable bio-futures; Australia's climate change choices

Walter Jehne

1pm-2pm Thursday 20th March

Manning Clarke T4

Is climate change happening so fast that even 100% greenhouse gas reductions
couldn't save us? Mr Jehne argues it is, and that we will face catastrophe
by 2030 regardless of how many lights we switch off. He doesn't see this as
reason for giving up hope however, but for looking elsewhere for solutions.
Carbon dioxide isn't the only part of the climate system; he argues that we
can take advantage of the enormous part that water vapour plays to reduce
climate change before it is too late. If Jehne is right, we have
significantly altered the climate already through altering water vapour
dynamics.

Mr Jehne is a retired independent scientist and has been using a forensic
systems mapping and pattern analysis approach to review the available peer
reviewed scientific evidence to better understand different aspects of the
aetiology of climate change.

Hope you can come,
