Walk for the Walk!
Letterbox your street, your block, your neighbourhood, your workplace.
The more people we have at the Walk, the more likely we are to achieve
the best outcome for our climate. We need your help to get the message
out.
Posters and fliers will be in the office by Friday and we need your
help to get them out all over Canberra.

if you want to be a part of the climate change solution
We have stickers in the office now that you can put on your bicycle,
car, stroller, wheelchair, letterbox, locker or anywhere else they'll
be seen. They're free and they're waiting for you to collect them. 3
Childers st, Acton (next to the Street Theatre).
Walk Against Warming 2008 comes at a critical point, when governments
around the world are deciding how they will respond to the climate
crisis. In Canberra and all over the world, the Walk falls right when
Australian representatives are at crucial international climate talks
in Poland. The community's voice has never been more important to
demand strong, urgent action from our government and justice for
developing nations affected by global warming.
Last year we held the world's biggest climate change rally. Two months
later Australia signed the Kyoto protocol. One year on the future of
our climate still hangs in the balance.
