!! Sustainable House Day Events!!

         Thursday 4th September at Manning Clarke Theatre 1, ANU– SHD
FREE Introductory Seminar.  A seminar featuring speakers from ACT and
Federal Government, senior representatives from the ACT Development
Industry, sustainable building users, designers and technologists.  A
brief overview of the houses on this year's tour will also be given to
close the evening.  Speakers include: Mick Gentleman MLA; Howard
Pender (Managing Director of Australian Ethical Investments) John
Robertson  (to be confirmed - Land Development Agency); Kelvin Martin
– Sustainable Energy Technology at CIT); representatives from the
newly-formed Electric Vehicle Association.

         Saturday 13th September – Sustainable Schools Day and open
day at Trevor Pearcey House (a sustainable office building) - FREE
entry.

         Sunday 14th September – Sustainable House Day - 13 Canberra homes
on display. FREE entry
for ANZSES members - bring your membership card. Otherwise entry is $5 per
house. Children are free.
