*What’s On?*

An interactive forum by Walter Jehne, a member of Climate Action Canberra &
former CSIRO scientist. *Walter will present findings of research which goes
beyond the current dominant climate change consensus.* He will demonstrate
the gaps, open new options and outline potential safe solutions.

Don’t believe it? I didn’t either. Tim Flannery does. So come see for
yourself.

*A 30min presentation will be followed by a 90min discussion with a strong
emphasis on open critical debate *



The bad news is that it may be far too late to prevent climate meltdown by
just reducing future carbon emissions, irregardless of the level. *The good
news is that we may still be able to avoid meltdown if we ‘cool’ climates
and rapidly draw down past emissions. By widespread reforestation we may
still be able to enhance cloud albedo and cooling and sequester carbon in
biomass and soils to hopefully meet our daunting climate stabilisation
challenge, in time.*



So come along, bring someone, get informed and take action to help address
this fundamental urgent challenge. To do so we need open critical analysis
and debate so come along and contribute to an insightful, rich & rigorous
discussion.
