Do you want to take action on climate change this year
beyond switching your lights off for an hour..?!

 

If yes, then come along to the 1st planning
meeting of the student/youth branch of Climate Action Canberra!!! 

 

Wednesday April 1st, 5-6pm

Conservation Council

3 Childers St 

(just down the road from the Street Theatre) 

Snacks provided! 

 

It’s going to be a great chance to make plans for the year
ahead for climate campaigning we can get into here in Canberra!! If you want to
go to one climate meeting this year- then come to this one! 

 

We could get into building community sustainability
initiatives, culture jamming, indigenous solidarity, direct actions, being a
part of bigger NSW or Oz campaigns, helping organise and going to climate
camps, or whatever we do so decide!! 

 

After the meeting feel free to join us in going to see Guy
Pearse speak from 6-7:30pm at ANU (he was a former Liberal
Party insider who left to reveal the dirty business that went on behind our
climate policy… and continues to this day!).
