I received the following request for info from Norm Catto the Editor of
Quaternary International journal.
Can anyone can help with his request for:
1 - information on people who could contribute to a special edition on
urban Quaternary geology on major cities in particular Sydney and
Melbourne?
2 - references about the urban geology/geomorphology/Quaternary of
Australian cities?

Hi Dr Simpson:

Peter Bobrowsky gave me your name as current chair of COGEOENVIRONMENT.
I'm interested in putting together a Quaternary International volume
dealing with the Quaternary settings of world cities, and I'm in the
process of sounding out potential contributors.

As well, I'm having my undergraduates research the geomorphology of
cities for their term projects, partially so I can see how much
information is already out there in the literature.

Can you give me any references for the urban
geology/geomorphology/Quaternary for both Sydney & Melbourne??
