Research permist

[Jeannette Hope River Junction Research]

Does anyone have any recent experience in NSW regarding NPWS requiring research permits for the collection of sediment and/or pollen cores in lake basins (dry or otherwise) or elswhere, for academic or postgraduate research,  on leasehold or freehold land (ie not within a National Park)?   Any experience with DLWC regarding requirement for REF's before such research work?  Or, have you been doing such work without involvement of NPWS or DLWC?

Any current info or comments welcome.
