NCCR Research Fellowship
The Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research NCCR "Climate" offers
two Fellowships (duration of maximum 4 years) for advanced
postdoctoral studies in
climate research in Switzerland. The "NCCR Research Fellowships" are granted
to excellent young scientists who wish to pursue an academic
career.
Research topics should address one of the four NCCR Work Packages
- Past climate - variability, trends and extreme events
- Future climate - processes and forecasting
- Impacts of climate variability and change
- Risk assessment, risk hedging and socio-economic responses
Further information about ongoing research in the 13 NCCR Climate projects
is available on www.nccr-climate.unibe.ch . Fellows are affiliated to one of
the four NCCR Work Packages and the respective
home institutions.
Selection of the fellows is made based on past academic performance of the
candidate, quality of the research project and demonstrated potential for
future development. The NCCR commits itself to
strengthen the role of women in science and welcomes the nomination of
women.
