Lecturer in Geography

School of People, Environment & Planning, College of Humanities & Social 
Sciences, Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand.

Applicants are expected to possess a doctorate and have relevant research 
and teaching experience in one or more of the following areas: 
geomorphology, coastal geomorphology, natural hazards, biogeography, 
hydrology, climatology and glaciology. All specialisations in Physical 
Geography will, however, be considered, especially from applicants with an 
interest in the Asia-Pacific region.

The successful candidate(s) will teach undergraduate and graduate students 
and provide supervision at masterate and PhD level. Teaching is conducted 
on the Palmerston North Campus and there is a strong extramural (distance 
education) programme.

The appointee is expected to develop an active research programme in their 
area of expertise.
