The archaeology and  environmental history of Southern Deserts
 
 15-18 January 2003, National Museum, Canberra.
 
This international conference focusses on the major southern deserts:
the Namib and Kalahari in southern Africa, the Australian deserts, and
the Atacama, Puna and Patagonian deserts in South America.  The program
includes more than 50 papers, as well as presenters from 11 countries.

There are now only a limited number of places left for the 'Deserts'
conference.  If you are planning to join us, you  need to register as
soon as possible.
