Education Council (MTEC), which recognizes CRC LEME as Australia's premier
regolith geoscience research organization.

Courses commence on 23 February and include:
    * Regolith Geology and Geochemistry (23-27 February, Wilsons
Promontory, Victoria), limited places available;
    * Regolith Mapping and Field Techniques (15-19 March, Broken Hill, New
South Wales);
    * Introduction to Hydrogeochemistry (29 March-2 April, University of
Melbourne);
    * Advanced Remote Sensing for Mineral Exploration and Natural Resource
Management (13-16 April, University of Adelaide);
    * Clay Mineralogy and Geophysics (27-28 April, University of Adelaide
*students only*);
    * Environmental Mineralogy (21-25 June, Australian National University);
    * Regolith Geology and Mineral Exploration Masters course (2-13 August,
Broken Hill, New South Wales), offered as part of the G3 Masters in
