I put this plea on the archaeology list and got two, yes two!, replies. So
let's try again with the scientists.
Does anyone have, or can anyone point me towards, papers on rockshelter
sedimentology. I'm getting tired of citing myself. I'm looking for pH,
organic content and sand:silt:clay ratios - all archaeologists seem to do,
if they do anything is sieve the sand fraction and think they've
characterised their deposits.
I'd refer sediment data from archaeological sites, but data from
non-archaeological sites might be useful for comparative purposes.
Don't refer me to Phil Hughes' I know his work.
I'm hoping someone might have published something in the last 10 years that
has passed me by.
If you can send me copies of papers by snail mail, please do. Otherwise
PDFs are fine.
