Dear Quaternarists,
The AQUA-Executive Committee is delighted to announce that the following
students have won the AQUA Travel Prize for 2007 to attend the
INQUA-2007 International Conference in Cairns:
1. Matthew Hughes from Lincoln University , NZ
2. Angus Tye, University of Melbourne
3. Kath Fitzsimmons, ANU
4. Julien Louys, UNSW
5. Lynda Petherick, University of Queensland
The prize is $600 and will cover the registration fees.
Congratulations.
It is now time to remind your colleagues here in Australia/New Zealand
and overseas that this exciting conference is in 3 months and that
registration is open. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet
top scientists of our exciting field all in the one place in our
country. The location of Cairns (in July/August) is also one of the best
places on this planet and according to recent newspaper articles also
perhaps one of the last chances to see the Great Barrier Reef.
Warm regards
