Dear colleagues, please consider submitting an
abstract for the following session.

AGU 2007 JOINT ASSEMBLY - Acapulco, Mexico May 22-25

SPECIAL SESSION
PALEOENVIRONMENTAL RECORDS FROM CAVE SEDIMENTS (PP07)

We would like to invite you participate in a
special Union Session on Paleoenvironmental
Records from Cave Deposits for the 2007 AGU
(American Geophysical Union) Joint Assembly to be
held in Acapulco, Mexico. This session will focus
on cave sediments as archives of continental
paleoclimatic information at local, regional and
global scales. Of particular interest are those
records from tropical areas where temporal
variations of monsoonal activity can be recorded,
providing essential information on the role of
the tropics within the global climatic system.
Contributions presenting paleoclimate records
from geochemical, paleoecological, and physical
proxies in speleothems as well as other cave sediments are sought.

* Please feel free to circulate this to other
potential participants that you might know.*
