It has been the experience of 45 staff from various Australian and NZ 
Universities attending a Grants Institute event in Sydney in June 08 
that it was of extremely poor quality.  Attempts to obtain a refund 
have produced no result and research has indicated that the Grants 
Institute has a dubious track record in the US - see 
http://www.nptimes.com/08Jun/npt-080615-2.html.  Those intending to 
pay for attendance at events organised by the Grants Institute are 
therefore cautioned to treat such events with suspicion and conduct 
their own careful research before subscribing.
