WAIKATO RADIOCARBON DATING NEWS - Special offers

>From the 1st February 2008 we implemented a new pricing structure for
AMS dates. The price is now NZD775ea (approx. AUD 666). There are also
small batch discounts available for both standard radiometric and AMS,
which kick in when you send us more than 10 samples, and additional
discounts for large numbers of (>30) samples. Please contact us with
approx. numbers and sample details to take advantage of these discounts.

For a short time we are offering a large discount on standard
radiometric dates. Normally NZD525ea, between the 17th March and the
17th July a standard radiometric date will cost the low price of
NZD450ea (equivalent to AUD387 as of the 5th March 2008).

For the remainder of 2008 we are also re-introducing the buddy incentive
scheme, whereby if you recommend any new client who submits 10 or more
radiocarbon dates (standard radiometric or AMS), we will give them 1
free date as well as giving you 1 free date on your next batch of 10 or
more samples (this offer is only valid until the 24th December 2008).
(Please note: samples must be submitted as a single batch). Contact us
if you would like a pdf copy of our current brochure (size: 400KB) to
send on to colleagues.

To ensure we continue to give you the best service available we have
been building new AMS vacuum lines in accordance with the latest AMS
practices. These advancements will improve our AMS precision and
turn-over time. Hopefully, clients will begin to notice these advances
early in 2008.

Changes have also occurred in the standard radiometric laboratory. We
now have 10 Quantulus spectrometers, which have enabled us to increase
the counting time for commercial samples, resulting in increased
precision for clients wishing to use this technique to date their
samples.
